Background

I came back to WLC in 2025 after completing my doctoral coursework in English at IU-Bloomington. Though my doctoral studies are primarily centered on Modern poetry and poetics, I also read and write about the relationship between rhetoric and criticism, the history of Anglo-American philosophy, and narratology. Prior to attending IU, I took an MA in English Literature at Marquette University (2015). My hobbies include long walks in the snow, unnecessarily complex board games, and pick-up hockey.
