If you're passionate about health care and helping others, and you have an interest in X-rays, CT scans, MRIs or other forms of medical imaging, a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology may be a great fit for you!

Our radiologic technology major is a two plus two program. You'll take classes for two years at WLC, then complete your final two years of classroom and clinical experiences at an affiliate hospital.

Our closest affiliate hospital is , located directly across the street from our campus. Froedtert is regularly recognized as one of the nation's highest quality academic medical centers. We also have affiliate agreements with , a 24-month, full-time, hospital-based program; , a 24-month program in a clinical setting that performs over 90,000 general diagnostic X-ray procedures each year; and .

You'll graduate prepared to make a meaningful difference

Many radiologic technologists were historically trained in two-year technical colleges; however, expectations and degree requirements have changed significantly in recent years. Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin’s School of Radiologic Technology now only accepts students in a bachelor’s degree granting program. Hospitals and clinics are now increasingly seeking radiologic technologists with a bachelor’s degree so that they are better prepared for the complexities of a rapidly changing health care system.

Our two plus two program provides the best of both worlds. You'll graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in radiologic technology, having received a well-rounded Christian education grounded in the liberal arts while at the same time having received intensive classroom and clinical training at respected affiliate hospitals leading to certification as a Registered Technologist - Radiographer RT(R).
